Oil has been discovered at Enyenra- 3A well in Ghana by a global oil and gas exploration company which have headquarters in London, Tullow Oil Pic. The Enyenra – 3A appraisal is situated 4 miles north of the Owo- 1 discovery and around 11 miles north of the Enyenra – 2A well. Tullow Oil Plc announced in its half-yearly results for the six months ended 30 June, 2011 that oil production from the Jubilee offshore oil field has significantly boosted its oil revenues to over $1 billion.
